Technical Meeting in Italy
The Project beneficiaries CONTRONICS, RFT, UNIVEG ITALY and TTZ visited on 14th and 15th of July fruit and vegetable producing companies located in the North of Italy (Emilia Romagna Region) and in the South of Italy (Apulia Region) to prepare the on-site installation of ultrasonic humidification Units for the Project case studies.
End-user requirements, Technical specifications and Test study sites defined
At the end of June 2015, the end-user requirements, the Technical specifications of the prototypes and the Selection of the Test study sites was successfully completed.
Project Website launched
The FRESH-DEMO Website was launched begining of June 2015.
Successful Kick-Off Meeting
The ten project partners met in March 2015 to officially launch the Innovation Action FRESH-DEMO, Waste reduction and quality improvement of fruits and vegetables via an innovative and energy efficient humidification/disinfection technology.
